Managing Attorney
Joseph Rousseau leads Wayfinder Law, a law firm dedicated to providing clients exceptional service in the areas of 1) estate planning, wills, and trusts, 2) lawsuits and trials, 3) personal injury and wrongful death claims, and 4) probate and estate administration. He founded the firm after nearly a decade of working at one of the largest law firms in the St. Louis region. Wayfinder Law’s philosophy follows the “golden rule” – to treat clients how we would want to be treated.

Joseph’s desire to become a trial attorney arose after he suffered a serious injury while working at a metal foundry after graduating from St. Louis University High School. His desire to help people with estate planning stems from his witnessing families struggle with the terrible problems that can occur because of a lack of good planning. Both of these experiences shaped how he treats, and works for, his clients.

Joseph obtained a degree in finance from Miami University and later graduated with honors from the University of Illinois College of Law. He is licensed in Missouri, Illinois, and several federal courts.

Outside of practicing law, Joseph enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children.
